About Us

We are Inscape Animations, a group of three women who use the medium of film to address global issues such as war, migration and climate change. Throu​gh a combination of sound, image and words, we aim to explore complex ideas and challenge xenophobic narratives.
Rosie Wyllie

Rosie Wyllie is an artist and animator based in Cardiff. She studied Fine Art Drawing at Camberwell College of Arts, graduating in 2016. Her practice is rooted in drawing and she takes part in animation and book projects as well as artist residencies and exhibitions.

Catherine Henderson

Catherine Henderson writes for children, and sometimes adults, on subjects including music, prehistory and migration. She has written a fictional blog from the Iron Age and a book exploring prehistoric Britain through creative activities. Roots is her first film.

Katharine Seaton

Katharine Seaton is a composer and sound designer working in film and audio drama. She is interested in first person perspective in sound, and likes to use soundtrack holistically to ask "what does this person hear and feel that I do not?" She holds a BA in music and an MSc in music and sound for film and games.
